Some of you don't know what a great day it has been for animation.

Today both Ramshackle the animated pilot, And Triangle vs Monkey pt 40 the Finale, aired on YouTube.

I've been following both Zeddyzi and Blunt Brothers Productions for a while now so I was pretty excited.

And they are both great! My congratulations to both channels!

We live in an age where literally anyone can tell a story. And to see people take advantage of that to tell good stories is amazing!

Ramshackle tells the heartwarming slapstick story of a group of street kids.

Triangle vs Monkey concludes an epic saga of two survivors saving the world.

And I love them both. It's so obvious while watching these episodes how much love and care has been put into the animation and the story. The people making these videos aren't just doing it for a paycheck. They're not just going through the motions, hoping to make box-office.

They're telling a story. A story they want told. A story they know other people are excited to hear and see.

That's not to say that no one in the big studios doesn't care. But when you see how many strikes happen at Hollywood. When you realize there are artists who have had the joy sucked out of their craft so that some billionaire can get another paycheck they don't need. Well, I'd much rather support the little guys.

Besides, in all honesty, I actually like both of the videos more than the last year or so of the big name releases.

You just can't Top a baby eating a woman after being told to 'eat the rich!' Or the MONKEY RAGE! When his friend got hurt.

It is absolutely vital in any fandom to have a favourite character who you want to wrap up in a pile of blankets and give sweet treats to and a favourite character you want to beat on the head with hammers.

yes please run that character into the ground. they need to be swaying and staggering by the climax of the book/movie/episode

BUT

they have to get to collapse after. they need to fold into a heap while their friends/team scramble to break their fall. deprive them of that rest until the very end but then they need to actually get it.

bonus points if they’re delirious/drifting/only half-aware the comfort is happening

Why do I feel like this is gonna be a bloodbath

On the left, we see a fashion designer. Yes. This is a fashion designer. Gabriel Agreste from Miraculous Ladybug! He conquered a vampire and Satan himself already, but can he stand against Teru? With multiple nominations, he has made it into the bracket for:

that "fucking peppermint tie & bright red pants (below)
